Tabiat Bridge won Aga Khan award in 2016. Aga Khan architecture prize which is one of the most important awards in architecture, is granted by the Aga Khan foundation to one or more distinguished architects every three years.
In their perspective, to choose the winners, not only the architectural style but also cultural and social approach is considered strongly.
This award is granted to projects that have special standards in order to value historical worthiness and landscape architecture.
In 2016, Diba Tensile Architecture won the award for “Tabiat Bridge” designing.
